The zero off gauge on our 2011 Malibu response has stopped powering up, wondering if anyone else has had this problem and got it fixed without replacing the unit.

We have two boats the same so took the non working unit and put it in the other boat but still doesn't work, any help appreciated.

Unhook the antennas/pucks (both at the same time) see if it will light up.

Also there are two 12 volt circuits one (red) is a keep a live circuit. the other (purple or violet) is switched 12 volts from the key on circuit. and of course make sure the ground is clean and unobstructed.

Thanks @Jody_Seal, we have the two 12 volts present and when we fitted the dial in the other boat we did not fit the pucks only the main socket and it still didn't work.
