Who in water skiing is working with xensr?

No, but I saw a marketing video a while back that implied that.

I'd love to see the user manual though.

They had a developer site up for a while but it was mostly empty and has been down for a month now.

Developer.xensr.com I believe.

The tricky part is taking the ramp distance into account. For water ski jumping we measure from the end of the jump not the "take off point" leaving the surface of the water. Water skiing also adds distance to the touch down point tail of the skis to the binder position due to the hold over from the days of meters. Of course this is easily accounted for. But I am sure the xensr guys dont know this yet.

 

I have added my name to their mailing list to buy one. I have always been looking for a way to use GPS to measure my jumps in practice. Has to be cheaper than a splash eye system.

 

I am envision a future where competition jumps are measured
