But there has been an even more exiting story I would like to share. It started with mail discussions about a broken ski, ski building techniques. After a while I got a generous invitation to travel cross the globe and ski in CA. A year later a trip got planned to visit my wife's old friend that lived in CA. After some more investigations we found out that my BOS friend skied less than an hour away from us. I was really exited to ski my first run in USA. We meet at the lake and was received with open warm arms. Great fun skiing even though I skied far below my normal standard (first runs for the season) So I would like not only to give a special thanks to Eric and Lisa for hosting us and showed us such super duper great hospitality but also to BOS for providing the platform for this to happen!! @ELEESKI The BOS forum reaches all over the globe. Will definately hit him up and ski out there some time. That is pretty cool how this sight enables you to set up ski rides around the world. Will definitely do a BOS US tour in retirement. Baller gsm_peter Posted May 22, 2015 Author Baller Share Posted May 22, 2015 @rawly I am from Sweden, Stockholm. This year Norwegian set up a direct flight Stockholm to LA. Only 11 hours (that is 2 hours / 20 hours with time time zone impacts) We ski in sort of a bay at Lake Mälaren (huge lake but with 1000 of islands). Located 40 minutes from center of Stockholm. Ski it FW! Ballers, let me know if you are around and want to ski in cold dark wind/wave conditions o:) .... Ok, sometimes we have great whether also! I shall try to help you! Whit my limited experience It was far better than my own ski. @Hallpass In the middle of the desert. Amazing place. South of Palm Desert. East of Salton See.
