Bunger
What do any Strada owners (or others) think about a 65" Strada for a 165lbs guy (me)? I ski open water, maybe 30-32mph, full line... I know the specs say a 66 or even 67 is my weight range, but two sisters will be skiing it also and I am wondering whether I can get away with it... Baller schafer Posted June 14, 2015 Baller Share Posted June 14, 2015 I think at that speed you might prefer 66 or 67. At 36 mph I loved my 66". And I'm 160 lbs.
Bunger
Where/how would I see a differerence?
Baller richfoster Posted June 14, 2015 Baller Share Posted June 14, 2015 I rode a 66 at 34mph for a short time and I weigh 145. You may not feel like you are sinking or experiencing a lot drag until you try something longer. It should be much easier.
Bunger
On which would I feel the sinking/drag - the 65 or the 66?
Baller LeonL Posted June 14, 2015 Baller Share Posted June 14, 2015 The longer the ski the more support on the water, faster less drag.
Baller tjm Posted June 18, 2015 Baller Share Posted June 18, 2015 @bunger I have a 65" Lithium Senate for sale on ski-it-again. Never used, in the box, $899. It's a bit wider than the Strada, so should work fine. If interested email me.
Baller LeonL Posted June 18, 2015 Baller Share Posted June 18, 2015 I've got a 67" Strada that I'll let go cheap.
