In the mens slalom prelims today there was a tie between Tanguy Dilland (FRA) Sam Jackson (USA) Robert Hazelwood (GBR) and Nick Lang (USA). They were tied at 3@38 for the final spot in the prelims and went into a runoff. Hazelwood and Lang 2@38 &1.5@38 respectively. Tangy and Sam tied again twice at 4@38. Sam unfortunately lost the 3rd tie breaker to Tanguy with a score of 3@38 to Tanguy's 4@38.
