SailorDave17
Unfortunately my boat is at our cottage in Michigan, I live in Columbus OH. I have found 2 clubs but very little info. Would that be a good place to find rides/coaching? Any info would be great, I have found very little. Thank in advance!
Baller Ilivetoski Posted July 9, 2015 Baller Share Posted July 9, 2015 Not sure the name of the club, but the Dalton's own it. Some of the nicest people I have ever met! Skied against Riley, the daughter, for 2 years in collegiate skiing. Not sure how far it is from Colombus, but the Dammeyers have a nice lake as well. Baller BlueSki Posted July 9, 2015 Baller Share Posted July 9, 2015 Columbus Aqua Ski Club is likely your best best. The lake is owned by the city, but is private access. They have a Facebook page and even advertised on Ski-it-again for new members. Nice site. Years ago there were also a couple of courses on the Scioto River, hopefully the river courses are still there. http://www.ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?endless=summer&topic=Search&category=Ski_Clubs&postid=27063 https://www.facebook.com/pages/Columbus-Aqua-Ski-Club/203174913027945
Baller Lieutenant Dan Posted July 9, 2015 Baller Share Posted July 9, 2015 Lake Bobason out near Marysville, OH (23001 N Darby Coe Rd, Milford Center, OH 43045) might be an option. I've never been there myself and don't know if they are taking new members but they recently held a "Buckeye Bouy Tour" stop there. @GK might be able to connect you with the club. Baller nam1975 Posted July 9, 2015 Baller Share Posted July 9, 2015 Both Griggs and O Shanausey have courses. Griggs can get pretty busy. Quite a few clubs on USA waterski website and ski it again. Lots of skiers in C Bus OSU team is active too. What lake in MI??

SailorDave17
@nam1975 , it is Mullet Lake in Northern michigan, not exactly a ski lake, but in the morning the water is like glass.
