Is it time to trade up from my 2008 Connelly F1?

Hi guys,

I usually ski around 32-34 MPH and started skiing the course last year with some quick progress. This year is going well too but I'm debating whether to upgrade my ski. I'm riding a 2008 F1 67". I'm 170 lbs and 5'11".

 

I'm interested in trying a Radar Vapor potentially. Would I notice much of a difference or improvement in my skiing?

I rode the f1 for years. Then prophecy. I tried the vapor last week. Buy a new ski.

@Cayman2 how did you like the Vapor compared to the Prophecy?

@brettmag , I rode a 2006 F1 for 7 yrs and liked it lot, got on a 2014 Prophecy and was amazed at the difference. I'm 160 and have a 66" Prophecy, definitely buy anew ski.

I would say if you need to ask that question on here then you need a new ski. Anyway can't see anyone saying don't get a new ski

@brettmag I liked the blue vapor I tried quite a bit more than red prophecy I have. The vapor had bigger sweet spot during preturn and turned easier without hooking. Vapor got to the other side quicker too. I'm a hopeless tech head. So I bought a flex tail. I like it even more than vapor.
