years back the t5 was used at boardstock to pull the slalom event. centurion sponsored. did not hear good things about it, but to be fair the conditions were awful. I cant help but believe the rlxi will be much better and still offer roominess.

These won't tell you the whole story but worth a read. The Malibu standard engine was 320hp while the 270hp engine coming standard from Centurion sounds pretty pathetic for a boat roughly 10 years old.

Slightly off-topic but I was in a similar situation a couple months ago. There was a 2003 Centurion that looked to be in incredible condition and a 2000 Malibu Response LX. There was sooo little information about the Centurions before the Carbon Pro came out. My assumption was; no knowledge from the die hard skiers doesn't mean it's a bad boat but it does probably mean that it's not an awesome boat. Meanwhile, everyone seemed to love the Malibu's so that made my decision easy and I couldn't be happier with the BU.
