Not EZ to beat that price, even if you go to your local Lowes or Home Depot to assemble the components yourself. A step up from clothesline and broom handles. The line looks thinner than 3/8. Back When, and the AWSA was a supplier for some equipment, handles that were wooden inside and had a rubber covering would tend to rot out from the inside. Would be interesting to get some feedback. Probably don't want to use for heavyweights. At one time, early 1970's, I made the Ultra Handle, which included the line segment. One is displayed at the Museum at the Hall of Fame building.
