Baller WBLskier Posted August 16, 2016 Baller Share Posted August 16, 2016 Considering one of these. Please weigh in on whether new shape of 2016 is more important or better of 2015 lithium. Ski is for a kid 63.5. 32mph for a while so not likely to flex the ski much. How much slower is the graphite? How much lighter is the lithium? Thanks. Baller Bill22 Posted August 16, 2016 Baller Share Posted August 16, 2016 my 2 cents. In this case '16 hands down!
Baller wtrskior Posted August 16, 2016 Baller Share Posted August 16, 2016 I'd actually recommend the lithium for the more responsive core. I don't think he will get the benefits of the updated shape as much as the pvc core.
Baller eddie_roberts_jr Posted August 16, 2016 Baller Share Posted August 16, 2016 I'd go with the 2016 Graphite Vapor.

Members Ausbun324
I just went from an 2015 alloy senate to a 2015 lithium vapor and I will never buy a ski that is not the top ski for the year ever again. It is a major improvement. Granted the vapor is narrower but I believe the core material is the important factor.
Baller RAK Posted August 22, 2016 Baller Share Posted August 22, 2016 Went from a 2015 Graphite Vapor 69.5 to a 2016 Graphite Vapor 68 and feels even better at 32 really liked the old one but like the new one even more.
