Baller_ lpskier Posted August 28, 2016 Baller_ Share Posted August 28, 2016 Lots of big scores yesterday at the Wueens Cup at Little Mountain Lakes. This Big Dawg format event for women say lots of great skiing, with Josefin Hirst and Chelsea Mills tieing for the high score in the preliminaries with .5@39 each. Two Canadian W5 pending records were set by Rhonda Powell and Maureen Mosteller at3 and 3.5@35 and Leza Harrison set a pending US W7 record with 4@35/49k. #iskicinnelly Lpskier
Baller klindy Posted August 28, 2016 Baller Share Posted August 28, 2016 @Edbrazil "line off" determines the winner. Using your example above if the W4 skier scores 3@35 and the W5 skier scores 3.5@35 the W5 skier wins. Otherwise the same rules as the Big Dawg where the second skier off the dock my score higher than the first to advance. No ties. A ties score means the first off the dock wins. Baller Edbrazil Posted August 28, 2016 Baller Share Posted August 28, 2016 Different bib color for two of the competitors?
Baller klindy Posted August 28, 2016 Baller Share Posted August 28, 2016 Top two scores. Knock them down the totem pole and you "win" the bib.
Baller Edbrazil Posted August 28, 2016 Baller Share Posted August 28, 2016 Just had an extremely unusual tie, with a quarter buoy score for both Jennifer and Lori.
Baller klindy Posted August 28, 2016 Baller Share Posted August 28, 2016 Yep!! Both skiers made it around the buoy and lost the handle as their bindings passed the buoy. Very interesting timing but both were late into the buoy at full speed.
Baller_ lpskier Posted August 29, 2016 Author Baller_ Share Posted August 29, 2016 Josefin Hirst was the ultimate winner. Absolutely great event. If you are female, this event should be on your "must ski" calendar for next year! Over $12,000 in cash and prizes. The winner took home a check for $2000. Second place was $1000, third $800, fourth $500 and fifth $200, plus prizes. Two skiers not in the top five won a Denali or Connelly GT ski. Little Mountain rocks! Pro Am in three weeks. #iskiconnelly Lpskier
