Baller A_B Posted August 29, 2016 Baller Share Posted August 29, 2016 2014 SN with ZO. Has always required the main power to be turned off and back on to power up. Is there a fix for this?
Baller dbutcher Posted August 29, 2016 Baller Share Posted August 29, 2016 I've seen the ZO do that on several 200's. I suppose there is a fix; but if that's all that's wrong, is it worth your trouble?
Baller LeonL Posted August 29, 2016 Baller Share Posted August 29, 2016 Just a question....if you finish for the day, turn the boat off, turn off the master power switch, when you come back and power up does it work? Does it require a master power down every time that you turn the engine off and restart to,get ZO going again?
Baller skiboat38 Posted August 29, 2016 Baller Share Posted August 29, 2016 Link Screen?
Baller A_B Posted August 29, 2016 Author Baller Share Posted August 29, 2016 It is my friend's boat, and skis and drives great btw. @LeonL The process is this: Turn master power switch on. Start boat. Idle out to starting point, no ZO display, can't turn it on, nothing. Shut off boat. Turn master power switch back off and then on. ZO magically starts and runs fine the rest of day, even when boat is stopped in between skiers or when talking to skier. We turn the boat off while skier is getting ready, so it is just an annoyance to turn off master power switch @klindy - what are you disagreeing with? Baller_ MISkier Posted August 29, 2016 Baller_ Share Posted August 29, 2016 The same thing happened on a 2015 200 at our tournament this weekend. It was the integrated screen ZO. Once they got it going, no further issues. The worst slalom equipment I own is between my ears.
Baller LeonL Posted August 29, 2016 Baller Share Posted August 29, 2016 So, every time you turn the engine off, the next start up gets you zero ZO?
Baller skiboat38 Posted August 29, 2016 Baller Share Posted August 29, 2016 Once you turn the master switch, wait 15-30 seconds before you hit start.....should cure it
Baller A_B Posted August 30, 2016 Author Baller Share Posted August 30, 2016 Leon - yes. After the first reset, runs normal. I don't think we wait 15-30 seconds. We can try that. Always seem to be in a hurry to go skiing though!

Baller ScarletArrow Posted July 15, 2018 Baller Share Posted July 15, 2018 Bump... My 2012 SN 200 has this same issue. I know of other (newer) 200's with the exact same problem. Another symptom is that the small light next to the starter button (there are two - the one on the right) will blink. I will try the 30 second wait next time out. I've heard ideas that the ZO unit does this because it isn't receiving enough voltage... but why on some and not others.
