Hurley launches free coaching service for surfers -- good idea for skiing?

Here is an article (click here) about one of the big surf brands (Hurley) launching a free coaching service for surfers wanting to improve their skills. It is available live in a few locations around the world and by sending in video. Feedback is given by pro surfers and pro coaches.

 

BOS is a great forum for waterski enthusiasts to help each other, but wouldn't it be great if one or more of the waterski industry brands offered something like this Hurley program?

It would be awesome but our sport is way too small for that to be economically viable. The dollars to pay for it just are not there.

@perfski does a customer appreciation day, or at least has, teamed up with Matt Rini doing free demo's, coaching etc. Not sure if it was open to any customer or special invite but what a great way to promote. I know I've taken advantage of it and have been a repeat customer to Matt Rini and and buy solely from Perfomance.
