99 today...HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

From FB; Correct Craft Chairman Emeritus Ralph Meloon, who has been with this company for 84 years, is celebrating his 99th birthday today! On behalf of all the Nautique employees, thank you for all that you have done and we wish you a Happy Birthday!

Ralph is a wonderful man and an even better Ambassador for the sport. He has also been a true friend to the Horton family.

I had the opportunity once to have a short conversation with Mr. Meloon. He, his family and CC have been a great asset to water sports and have witnessed their Christian faith wonderfully. I dropped him a note after I got home and shortly received a hand written response from him.

Born in 1917, he is older than water skiing itself (1922). Looking forward to him making

it into the Century Club in a year. Used to meet him yearly at the Masters.

Getting so there are lots of centenarians these days. Still is at least one person living who

was born before 1900.

I remember the monthly magazine. I still remember some of their stories. Will there be any other Meloons at CC after him?
