The third column in from the left suggests the Mastercraft Prostar and the Nautique 200 are "modified"...what is modified? Hull tweaks? Something else? What are the tweaks?

The "Modified" usually indicates a engine prop or transmission change, from the first variation of the tested hull. Note - neither have changed since last years list.

The walk thru has nothing to do with the running surface of the boat Promo will not have the walk thru

If for the TXi and SN are both the Closed and OB approved? I thought they used to have to qualify each separately but if the running surface and engine location is the same for both perhaps not?

@Mark_Matis I just skiied with t-gas early this month and he said that they gave the walk thru boat to will Asher and didn't want him to have it at the school because the boat they release won't have a walk thru. Or something to that extent

@Mark_Matis the weight difference between having the step through and not having it would be a 2-3lb difference at most.
