Baller Rivvy Posted February 25, 2017 Baller Share Posted February 25, 2017 I'm trying to get myself organized before the ski season starts. I'm looking for some ideas for building a ski rack in my garage. I'm thinking I would like to make it so it can hold 4-5 skis. If you've got something your proud of snap a pic and post. Thanks in advance.

Baller lakeaustinskier Posted February 25, 2017 Baller Share Posted February 25, 2017 Buy some organizational stuff from Gladiator Garage (a Whirlpool company - do a search for it). I like their slate wall panels and rubber coated hooks. Very nice for storing skis and gear.
Baller ScottScott Posted February 25, 2017 Baller Share Posted February 25, 2017 I just screwed 2 2x4 vertically on wall after drilling 1" holes spaced evenly down them. Then just stuck 1" dowels in the holes where I wanted. Even without gluing the 18" dowels fit tight enough for wakeboard and kneeboards.
Baller oldjeep Posted February 25, 2017 Baller Share Posted February 25, 2017 I just have 2 long 1x2's spaced off the ceiling above the boat to hold all the skis and wakeboards.
Baller Rivvy Posted April 30, 2017 Author Baller Share Posted April 30, 2017 Not a ton of interest here on ski racks but here's what I threw together if anyone's interested.

Baller Waternut Posted May 3, 2017 Baller Share Posted May 3, 2017 I just used bookshelf angles and padded them. Works like a champ. I've since flipped everything so the boots are down. They would occasionally start to smell if water sat too long.
Baller skihard Posted May 3, 2017 Baller Share Posted May 3, 2017 I made mine out of PVC pipe and fittings. Love it because it doesn't damage the skis and being wet is a non issue. I will post a pic when I get home.

Baller oldjeep Posted May 7, 2017 Baller Share Posted May 7, 2017 Here you go @MS . Was out in the garage today storing the hoard since my two remaining college kids moved home Thursday. Couple shots, at least half the stuff is in the boat.
