Baller Kelvin Posted March 2, 2017 Baller Share Posted March 2, 2017 In a few weeks I will have 2 PCM 5.7L engines available for sale. Both will come out of 2010 SN 200s. One of the engines has just over 1000 hours and will be suitable for a complete engine swap. I'm told the other engine runs strong, but it has over 5000 hours (2000 since rebuild) and would be more suitable as a donor engine for someone wanting to pull parts to upgrade an older 5.7L engine for Zero-off. 1000 Hour Engine 5000 Hour Engine Thanks for looking, Kelvin
Baller Orlando76 Posted March 5, 2017 Baller Share Posted March 5, 2017 I've been watching your ad. If one were to repower a 90's boat with this package, how would you convert the old Morse MV2 cable controller to a DBW? @Jody_Seal
Baller thager Posted March 5, 2017 Baller Share Posted March 5, 2017 There is an electronic box sensor mounted on the engine in the kit that reads the Morse cable position and that tells the engine digitally how much power is requested. As I have stated in other posts the throttle itself is not replaced.
Baller ForrestGump Posted March 5, 2017 Baller Share Posted March 5, 2017 Either setup is a deal for someone wanting to upgrade to a ZO capable engine setup. Even the 5000hr one could be freshened with new rings and bearings and still be under $2500.
Baller_ Jody_Seal Posted March 5, 2017 Baller_ Share Posted March 5, 2017 @Orlando76 The petal position unit mounts on the intake next to the throttle Body on the pcm engines of that generation. Utilizing the same cables as the carb / gt units..
