Baller disland Posted March 7, 2017 Baller Share Posted March 7, 2017 How tight do you folks keep the binder on the front of your foot. Specifically the part of the foot in front of the arch? I just recently replaced the rubber on my RTP and the new was a more snug fit and I was surprised at how the ski felt more stable. Now I am going to experiment with it tighter on my front foot too. Baller Orlando76 Posted March 7, 2017 Baller Share Posted March 7, 2017 I have my front binding (currently) to where 7-8 passes is all I can do without my ability obviously be hindered. After having it this tight and going back my old way, I'm lucky to round two buoys.
mikegile
I'm on Vapors and have the foot quite tight and the ankle snug but not tight. Rear the same but looser on the ankle than the front
Baller_ Wish Posted March 8, 2017 Baller_ Share Posted March 8, 2017 Id say as tight as u can tolerate over 6 or more passes. Upper cuff area if lases need to be less tight (adjust at own risk) for release. No matter what you do..front binder must release with an RTP. The more you can secure the ball of your foot to the bottom of the boot the better. That can be done with Relfex as well. However, you must be able to release...Again..must be able to release... Administrators Horton Posted March 8, 2017 Administrators Share Posted March 8, 2017 As long as the entire bottom of your foot held securely to the bottom of the binding I do not know why you would want it tighter.
