Baller skier2788 Posted March 9, 2017 Baller Share Posted March 9, 2017 @klindy I brought the conversation over here as this really off topic to the Milton reservoir thread. 1. Who do you have emails for that you will be targeting? Former usaws members? 2. Where are you going to find out about new ski lakes? The club in the Milton Reservoir thread did not reach out to anybody. A perspective member did. Do they even want usaws to promote there site? 3. Why would usaws promote a non tournament lake when nearby tournament lakes are competitively priced and looking for members? 4. Why is a former usaws member who dropped there membership going to rejoin when the lake you are promoting doesn't require it to be a member? Don't get me wrong I am all for some sort of out reach program. I don't think the time it would take to send out an email about new ski sites (unless they require a membership or a new tournament site) will be a very effective method of recruitment. I think letting former members in my area know that some tournament lakes are looking for a member may result in bigger bang for your buck.
