Transporting ski on a SxS (utility vehicle)

I am getting ready to retire my 6x4 Gator in favor of a Polaris Ranger. We have to drive about 1/2 a mile to the dock where we ski from and always have a bed full of coolers, snacks, kids toys, vests, etc. The bed of the Ranger is shorter than the Gator and the skis will hang out a lot, possibly to the point of tipping? Has anyone on here built a rack for their utility vehicle that might give me some design ideas?

Wakeboard tower waterski rack. Mount it somehow to the side or back.

Just stick it in a ski bag and bunny it to the bed

I think the bed of a utv is about 3 ft long

I realize the beds are small, I'm just reiterating what I do with mine. I just lay it sideways across the top of the bed in the ski bag, and bungee it down.

May sound redneck, but would the rifle racks that go on those for hunting work?

Vertical in bed with a bungee to top of cab?

I put 1" pvc in holes on top of bed rail. (They already exist). Then I use those foam floaties for the pool to outline the beds between the pvc. Works pretty good. Marc Austin at Aquaplex designed vertical rack for his but i don't have any pics.
