Radar Ergo gloves

Anyone using these gloves? Is the palm thin to get a good feel of the handle?

I ordered the Vapor gloves for me and can't wait to try the inside out with the BOA. A friend is looking at these Ergos.

I have used Ergo gloves for 4 seasons and they really work well. Tried some other gloves last year and got blisters straight away so went back to Ergo gloves and had no problems since.

I loved the orange Ergo gloves from the last year of the Strada. Now there is the Ergo-A and the Ergo-K. I'm willing to bet the Ergo-A has the nice thin palm material and the "K" to be a bit thicker.

 

All that said, I've never worn the Ergo-K gloves and I could just be full of sh&$

The new ergo A is inside out too. Very Nice glove but when I tried on the vapor boa Amara they fit amazing. Same feel but a different fit. Can't wait to try them.

Just got a pair of Ergo "A" with Amara palms size L. I usually need XL but thought perhaps try a size down , this having outside seams. Fit is really nice, comfortable and snug dry. I think the XL would have been too big. I sized using the Radar size guide on the Ergo page @Performance.

I'll report back after I've used them this weekend

@Bill22 I have been using these gloves for about 4 years, I've used both the Ergo-K (Kevlar) and Ergo A. They last extremely long, some of the best gloves Radar makes.

@ColeGiacopuzzi I assume that the "A" are a lot softer on the hands than Kevlar?

Yeah @Bill22 , Ergo-As are non Kevlar, so there softer, but they don't tear your hands up like you think they would. As long as you buy a size that fits your hand good that's not to tight on your fingers, the material won't tear, never had a pair tear.

Update , I skied one set this evening in the new gloves.

Really pleased with them. Very comfortable and more so than I thought they would be with me going down a size from normal.

 

Fit was very good when wet and didn't stretch or go baggy. Palms feel relatively soft compared to Kevlar palms but obviously thicker than my well worn Connelly Prides which have been used over 300 runs.

 

Pre curved fingers are nice and don't strain your hands on the handle

Obviously still a bit stiff and need broken in.

 

Time will tell how robust they are but stitching looks pretty sufficient.

P.S If I have anything slightly negative to say about the glove it would be that the backhand and wrist straps could be a little longer but I find this on most gloves. That said the Velcro fastening stayed in place throughout and did its job.
