Baller Ed_Johnson Posted April 7, 2018 Baller Share Posted April 7, 2018 Could have been worse, at least it wasn't his ski !!!
Baller_ Bruce_Butterfield Posted April 7, 2018 Baller_ Share Posted April 7, 2018 So is he going to get a new dog? If it was easy, they would call it Wakeboarding
Baller BlueSki Posted April 7, 2018 Baller Share Posted April 7, 2018 My parents had a dog that ate dental floss. Rest assured that it will be worse, when he has to pull it out of the tailpipe.
Baller skihacker Posted April 7, 2018 Baller Share Posted April 7, 2018 Our 9 pound minpin once ate an entire leather bet, yeah the tailpipe issues are no fun but it's better than surgery, our vet was quite worried.
Baller dbski Posted April 7, 2018 Baller Share Posted April 7, 2018 Your dog eating something odd is an everyday occurrence for any lab owner. My younger one ate a corn cob, not good! $3000 later he now wears a muzzle when we walk through the woods.
Baller_ DW Posted April 7, 2018 Baller_ Share Posted April 7, 2018 Who would you forgive - 'mans best friend' or wife / girl friend / significant other? On second thought, maybe best not to answer that one...
Baller skier2788 Posted April 7, 2018 Baller Share Posted April 7, 2018 @dw reminds me of the definition of true love. Lock your dog and your girlfriend in the trunk of your car for an hour and see which one is still excited to see you. Funny on the drive to TX on Wednesday I kept taking my slalom rope from my puppy so he wouldn't chew on it.
Baller oldjeep Posted April 7, 2018 Baller Share Posted April 7, 2018 Seems like maybe the collission of labs and the survival of the fittest thing is about due. There are a couple at the dog park that apparently like to swallow tennis balls.
Baller jackski Posted April 8, 2018 Baller Share Posted April 8, 2018 My friend was hitting golf balls and getting his labs to retrieve them. He thought they didn't find all of them. $ 5,000 later he got them back.
Baller RAWSki Posted April 8, 2018 Baller Share Posted April 8, 2018 @jackski had the same issue with a Shepherd that loved to retrieve for me practicing my pitching wedge. Never had a problem until left her home-alone too long with a shag bag in the corner . 13 balls in the stomach weren't the serious issue it was the one stuck in the intestine! $$$
Baller BraceMaker Posted April 8, 2018 Baller Share Posted April 8, 2018 Last thing to eat my rope was my brother.
kingshredd
Yep, put mine in the back of my truck with my English Bulldog for the trip out to the lake, had to borrow a rope when i got there!
Baller_ lpskier Posted April 10, 2018 Baller_ Share Posted April 10, 2018 Yes, but if you leave your lab and your wife in the trunk of your car on a hot day, which one will be happiest to see you when you open the trunk? Lpskier
