-I'm very happy to announce that Mystic lakes has put together over $40k in cash prize money to bring back a 6 event pro event at the GOODE US Nationals. The tradition of the US Open at nationals was always great and we are hoping to brand this new event called the America's Cup Invitational into just that and maybe eventually bring back the US Open, but after 2 successful night jump events, this year we are adding slalom and trick. All Level 9 and 10 US only skiers will be invited to ski. The open divisions of GOODE Nationals will be the prelims with finals taking place Friday night from 6-10 pm for all 6 events. All 3 boat companies stepped up huge to support the event as well as many other sponsors. More info to come at usawaterski.org

Well, despite what people think about the Level 10 Rule, and some other controversial rule changes, you can’t say that AWSA leadership is sitting on its hands and not trying to improve the National tournament. Kudos, @JeffSurdej, and kudos to Mystic Lakes for taking on the extra burden of more events.

@JeffSurdej This is amazing, thank you for helping put this together!

For us wannabe pro skiers - how many people make it to the finals? Do we need to enter as a separate tournament? If so do we pay two entry fees for the same nationals round?

@bishop8950 @AdamCord thanks for the positive remarks, we are pumped, just like the good ole US Open days, this is just as much for the nationals skiers as it is for the pro's. Anyways we should have the finals breakdown ASAP, leaning towards 4, maybe a bit more in MS and MJ.
