OscawanaSkier
Searched for this but didn’t find much. Can anyone point me toward resources on how to fine tune a TXI’s wake? Been skiing behind Malibu’s for years and always loved small wake. Wife and I purchased a new TXi this year, but wake seems bigger than expected at 32 and above (biggish rooster tail). Any guidance on adding weight or other adjustments to fine-tune?

Baller Ed_Johnson Posted June 9, 2018 Baller Share Posted June 9, 2018 When I had a 2005 LXI, added 75lbs in the nose and it made a huge difference. Currently have 50lbs in the nose of my CC200.
Baller Wayne Posted June 9, 2018 Baller Share Posted June 9, 2018 What speed are you running? How many people in the boat? How is the TXI configured (tower, Bimini, wedge)? What additional stuff do you carry in the boat? Other than weight from passengers or “extra stuff” and boat speed, most of the above makes a small difference but is somewhat negligible. Baller Ski_Dad Posted June 9, 2018 Baller Share Posted June 9, 2018 i would try a different prop - what is on it now ? - maybe switch from OJ to Acme or vice-versa to see what result you get. Always good to have a spare.
