Baller TEL Posted August 21, 2018 Baller Share Posted August 21, 2018 Looking at boots the other day. I noticed the old style boots like the animals, the heal angles forward which would force you to bend your front ankle forward applying more pressure to the front of the Ski. Most modern boots have you standing straight up, which I think make it harder to bend your ankle forward. Are the Ski manufacturers who are making boots for us, making it harder for us to apply front pressure to our ski? Or did I just come up with a new excuse for not being able to apply enough tip pressure to my ski?
Baller Drago Posted August 21, 2018 Baller Share Posted August 21, 2018 We’ll, not sure what brand you’re looking at, but my D3 t-factors have decent forward lean. It’s important to note that forward lean is not forward pressure.
Baller aupatking Posted August 21, 2018 Baller Share Posted August 21, 2018 There’s several threads on here about that. Find one of Adam Caldwell’s. He gets fairly in depth about it, but I believe it’s mostly Reflex boots he’s using. Same principle, of course
Baller Drago Posted August 21, 2018 Baller Share Posted August 21, 2018 Ironic. I screw riveted my reflex at the same angle of my t-factors( gave up on reflex about 6 years ago)
