  1. That's great that my boat is worth so much. I bought mt 08 196 with 430 hrs in 2016 for $25,000. I think I will keep it, skies Great. I ski behind a 2018 200 every other time I ski and I can not tell the difference skiing. 200 Tracks a little better driving.
  2. I have an 08 196 whenever I have mildew, I have always used 1/4 bleach to water and a brush to clean with. I put it in a spray bottle spray, brush and rinse. I only starter to replace 3 covers of my interior 3 years ago that's 12 years before I had to recover. Granted my interior is off white. If you know me, I keep a clean boat and live in the Florida sun about 1800 hrs on my 196
  3. You can not pry my NRG 1 out of my hands I bought a backup from the factory as a closeout and just started skiing on it last year. Amazing ski after fin tuning and boot placements. The boot one hole forward and DFT add .013 both ski the same.
  4. Orlando this week, sorry we don’t understand winter?

@dave2ball I like my 08 196 but as the hours are clicking by it's getting time to look for a new boat. I live on a private lake, I want a closed bow boat I hate the flip up jump seats. I like the room inside of my 196. When we go out skiing three go out so we are laying ski equipment on the floor and can walk around without stepping on it. That leaves out the older 200's and new Ski Nautique. New 200 only comes open bow. The MC I like but again damn jump seat. MC make a closed bow boat. The TXI has room and a closed bow. Just not skied or driven one If I am going to spend the money I want what works for me. Come on MasterCraft build a closed bow

@bananaron, @Broussard Fuel is not a problem. I live on a private lake my boat never sees more than 10 gallons. I just was asking how the boat drives and skis
  8. I have skied in tournaments and practice behind most 196's, 200's and new Ski Nautique, MC 2017 and 2021 skiing 22-35off I have no complaints driving either. How are the wakes and driving of a 2020 TXI? I Love the look of a closed bow
  9. Why that old of a boat? I grew up skiing with an 80's MasterCraft but would never want to ski that boat now. Look for something in the 2000 even if you're looking to save money initially you will end up spending more in repairs and/or restoring something old
  10. Yep most of the people I ski with have dropped their speed ages 54 to 63 ski at 32mph. When we compete, we ski 32mph. Much easier on the body and crashes. Also no need to change skis, only thing that some people experience when they slowdown is the feeling, they sink after the turn or the ski grabs. The fix is to grab the handle a little later
  11. @Dacon62 It would of been nice to know before I ordered 30" sign
  12. You live in Clermont and you had it shipped? It's a 40 minuet drive to the store
