Mirror for SN 196

Ok crew - I’m looking for a mirror to use on our SN 196. Hear a lot of good things about the PTM Edge mirrors but want to know if it is a good fit for the 196. I will probably mount the mirror in the center of our boat where the existing one sits. If you have a 196 and use a PTM where do you mount it and does it block your view out the front? Thanks again Ballers - you are the best!

I have one mounted just above the driver seat on top of the windshield. It flips up and down... great mirror

@Skoot1123 I have a 196 and also have the ptm edge 140. I mounted right in the middle. I really like it there. You could mount it straight above the driver if you wanted to. In a 196 you sit pretty low and the bracket is pretty tall. On a few of the newer 200 if you mount it in front of the driver all I see is my big head in the way. Go with the ptm edge mirror and bracket. You won't regret it. It is one of those things you take for granted when you have it. Then you drive someone else boat and realize how great it is.
