Baller Ryota Posted July 3, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 3, 2019 80miles when I was in college team. Had to take train right after my class finishes on Friday(around 7pm) then, 3 and half hours of train ride, arrive at station around half 10pm. sometimes we had to walk 3 miles to our club house after train ride. Start practice when the sun goes up and finish when the sun goes down. Earliest and longest was , Wake up at 3:40 ,start skiing from 4:30 , finish around 7 pm. It was tough schedule but also good memories.

Baller gsm_peter Posted July 3, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 3, 2019 It seems like we are spoiled in Sweden... :) There are about 10 clubs within 2,5 hours drive from centre of Stockholm. I guess the membership fees for all those 10 clubs together would be type 2000 usd/year. But I can be a free guest at most clubs as long as I am a member in one of them. Baller jhughes Posted July 6, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 6, 2019 19 miles to public water, 5 minutes to club, 300 miles to cabin. Boat here in the garage, boat up at the cabin, club boat at the club. Keeping all angles of skiing covered here with wonton disregard for sensible financial practices. Love this stuff.
