Baller Dockoelboto Posted August 9, 2019 Baller Share Posted August 9, 2019 First off, I'm a terrible skier, but I love doing it. I want to get better and now that I can ski again (5 year break living in the SW) I'm working on it. I have a 2008 Connelly F1 that overall I like but I feel like it is too advanced for me. To clarify that, I mean it likes to ski at faster speeds and when I ski faster I tend to lose all form and my weak off-side turn becomes non-existent. I've thought I should get a ski designed for 28-30mph or something like that so I can focus on form at slower speeds. Is this a terrible idea? Right now I've been skiing mostly at 30mph - 15off, I feel that the ski probably prefers a faster boat speed to perform better. This is of course just my opinion. Am I crazy? Otherwise, based on what you've provided so far, I would agree with @ballsohard and suggest you start your search in the range of a katana or a union. I'll take a closer look at the radar skis and the connelly. seems like there are some good options to take my skiing to the next level. Thanks!
