Baller TEL Posted August 16, 2019 Baller Report Posted August 16, 2019 I’m pretty good at checking my equipment but for some reason I had not looked at the handle itself The rope is in good shape. I bought some new stealth gloves at nationals and when I tried them my hands kinda hurt. The handle felt small with the gloves went back to my old gloves I guess they have a little more padding I then look at my handle and my handles wore out. I’ve since order a new handle will be here next week. I guess using Kevlar gloves wears out the handle faster now I know to keep an eye on it not sure if you can see how warn it is in the pictures
Baller_ Bruce_Butterfield Posted August 16, 2019 Baller_ Report Posted August 16, 2019 If you can’t see at least a dime sized patch of aluminum its not worn out:) If it was easy, they would call it Wakeboarding
Baller TEL Posted August 17, 2019 Author Baller Report Posted August 17, 2019 @Brewski can"t talk me out of my In-Tow Handle. That handle has more than 250 sets on it in the warm FL water
Gold Member Rednucleus Posted August 17, 2019 Gold Member Report Posted August 17, 2019 That is a high end custom molded handle; still has a couple hundred sets left on it - but don't let anyone else use it so it doesn't change your mold!
Baller ChiroBlitz Posted August 17, 2019 Baller Report Posted August 17, 2019 Where do you get a custom handle ?
Baller thager Posted August 18, 2019 Baller Report Posted August 18, 2019 Have some fun, learn something and make your own. Parts/rope available at Lake Elmo Sports. Can't beat Charles customer service! How to on YouTube.
