Ski site??

Flying into Charleston Executive Airport (SC) last fall and found what looks to be an awesome ski site about 7-10 miles west of the airport. Couldn’t get a better look at it since I was kinda busy getting ready to land....

And ideas? Going back there this fall as well...

There are 2 sites I'm aware of Charleston, Trophy Lakes and Seth's Stisher's site. I believe both are on John's Island which it looks like that airport is also on John's Island.

Yup, airport is on Johns Island. Thinking it’s Seth’s as it’s only one ski “lake”. Looks man made but pretty cool. No homes around it just the lake.

Yeah it’s a cool site...will have to throw my ski in the back and see if I can get some lessons. Suckage level is still excessively high...

Can’t read the numbers whizzing by on the FMS..too fast, can google search it though...

Flew the Lear 24 and 35, those Hot Rods would punch through 40,000' from takeoff in no time. A lot more fun than the huge 747's I flew for the Airlines. Your a lucky Guy !!!

I flew the old GE CJ-610 Lear 25’s also. Those straight pipe GE’s (at the cost of being a flying fuel emergency!!) will easily out climb the 40/45’s. We are certified to FL 510. Haven’t had it above 470 (I’m always @ 45/47) have to be REALLY light to get it to 510. About 5 hours flight time till it gets really quiet.

Lear 35’s are a strap on rocket. So much fun
