Shakeski
Ballers!!! Been a hot min for me on BOS - happy to be back! I have recently moved to Milwaukee WI and still ski my home site down in IL - but wondering if there are any avid skiers in the Milwaukee area that know of any courses around. Baller teammalibu Posted September 12, 2019 Baller Share Posted September 12, 2019 Stillwater Ski lake in Dousman is your only choice other than Doc, Jim’s! Did you ski Dutch Creek on the upper Fox?

Shakeski
@teammalibu - yes I do! How do I get hooked up with folks at these places? Appreciate the feedback! @Jetsetr would love to help anytime!
Baller Jetsetr Posted September 13, 2019 Baller Share Posted September 13, 2019 Brian is one of the principles (at least he is/was for competition) @ Stillwater. His wife is also an active 3 event skier (I THINK she was the Wisconsin state champion last year or the year before). I don’t have his contact info. He’s listed on the WI waterski site. If you just wander out there on a weekend I’m sure someone can hook you up with the right people. It’s a beautiful site. Everyone I’ve had contact with is super nice. Big Dog Jeff lives on the lake as well. Really interesting story as to how that site came to be. Would really like to be on that lake (not sure if the neighbors would care for a GE going into afterburner once in a while)...
Baller ESPNSkier Posted September 13, 2019 Baller Share Posted September 13, 2019 Any courses located up in northern Door County? My wife opened an Art Studio up in Fish Creek and I’m looking for places to ski when I’m up that way.
Baller eyepeeler Posted September 14, 2019 Baller Share Posted September 14, 2019 Whatever happened to that multi-lake site up around Adams? We skied regionals there yeeeeears ago.
Baller UWSkier Posted September 15, 2019 Baller Share Posted September 15, 2019 @eyepeeler that was Tolzmans old place. Great site. Believe they ended up losing that place in the downturn. I froze my hands skiing in a snowstorm there at WI collegiate state tourney once. That hurt like hell.
Supporting Member Than_Bogan Posted September 15, 2019 Supporting Member Share Posted September 15, 2019 How close to Northwestern? Standing in my daughter's new dorm room as I type.
Baller Jetsetr Posted September 16, 2019 Baller Share Posted September 16, 2019 Hour and a half or so.... Our lake was just closed again for high water levels. We have had 8+ inches of rain in the last 5 days...
