Baller 75Tique Posted January 16, 2020 Baller Share Posted January 16, 2020 Not sure anything will come of this, but cant hurt to ask. Last year I updated from a cool vintage boat, to a 96 176. Couldnt be happier, but with the step up in skiing, I now find myself wanting to step up speed control. The 176 does not have PP. I am thinking about seeing if I can add it, but really need to do it on the cheap. Anyone have any leads on used original PP or stargazer?
Baller_ DW Posted January 16, 2020 Baller_ Share Posted January 16, 2020 ski-it-again, Great Lakes Skipper, ebay or Amazon. Good luck hunting, used PP stuff is hard to get your mitts on.
Baller_ mike_mapple Posted January 16, 2020 Baller_ Share Posted January 16, 2020 might have some parts laying around my garage, if I can find them this weekend they are yours, just pay what ever my shipping cost is. (don't know what I have how ever, or if it still works) @75Tique Performance Ski and Surf Mike@perfski.com 👾
Baller BraceMaker Posted January 16, 2020 Baller Share Posted January 16, 2020 If you're not specifically doing a Stargazer with Z-Box I would personally consider giving http://steadypass.com/ a go. What it isn't... PP stargazer w/ z-box. What it is... 450$ with a guy that is developing a product and doing updates actively.
Shortenit
I have a stargazer in my ‘07 Nautique right alongside the ZO. Wife “hated” ZO when it first came out so bought and installed the Stargazer just for her. Of course eventually she got used to the ZO and never looked back. ? Been meaning to remove it for a couple years now but never got around to it. Be happy to sell it real cheap but here in the northeast the boat is in winter storage and shrink wrapped. If you are still interested in April I will take it out (actually will take it out anyway, thanks for the prod), just let me know and we’ll figure something out. Shortenit
Check and make sure it’s compatible with your boat setup.
