Baller ALPJr Posted April 18, 2020 Baller Share Posted April 18, 2020 Why are a number of the latest skis being marketed with a flatter or reduced tip shape or tip rocker?
Baller Stevie Boy Posted April 18, 2020 Baller Share Posted April 18, 2020 Hmm, obviously ski design can help a little , but my thoughts are that tip climb is usually a result of movement from the skier, typically being impatient and pulling your arms into get a tight line. Just know I am going to get scolded for this one.
Baller jayski Posted April 18, 2020 Baller Share Posted April 18, 2020 ...cause the masses have issues with keeping the tip down through the finish of the turn. Most do not effectively use the skis as they are (were) designed (re:engage the front of the ski) the manufactures are making changes to the skis to overcome ones inherent weakness

Baller Ed_Johnson Posted April 19, 2020 Baller Share Posted April 19, 2020 The Denali has very little tip rocker and it stays down better than any ski I have ever riden.
