Baller smigforce Posted June 19, 2020 Baller Share Posted June 19, 2020 I just bought this boat and didn't come with a users manual. Can anyone help (or point me to a youtube video). That explains how to make speed setting adjustments in smaller increments. Thank you!
Baller skihacker Posted June 19, 2020 Baller Share Posted June 19, 2020 I vaguely recall that you can't, i feel like you make small changes to skier weight.
Baller keithh2oskier Posted June 19, 2020 Baller Share Posted June 19, 2020 I think perfect pass has older user manuals available. I assume your software is ver 6.xx
Baller foxriverat Posted June 19, 2020 Baller Share Posted June 19, 2020 You change speed in small increments by changing rpm`s on PP + to go faster - to go slower. I was running -50 rpm`s at 32 mph last time out
Baller_ Rednucleus Posted June 20, 2020 Baller_ Share Posted June 20, 2020 Contact Perfect Pass with your version number, bet they have info for you. My buddy's 98 Sportster PP is set up to increase speeds by 1/2 to 1 mph per click. On his slalom setting you hit menu twice to get to speed, then arrow up or down to make changes. Makes it fun to work your way up the speeds if you are a challenged skier like me. His speeds are something like 29.8, 30.4, 31.3, 31.9, 32.4, and works up that way to 36mph. He uses rpm mode for bare footing fun at 42-4600 rpm
Baller UWSkier Posted June 20, 2020 Baller Share Posted June 20, 2020 Stargazer use practice mode and + or - to from a set speed to reach desired speed. 6.5 or older use RPM adjust as mentioned.
Baller aupatking Posted June 20, 2020 Baller Share Posted June 20, 2020 This thread dealt with background settings, ball-to-ball timing, to get times exactly as they wanted them. https://www.ballofspray.com/forum#/discussion/comment/374002
Baller BraceMaker Posted June 20, 2020 Baller Share Posted June 20, 2020 Depending on version some modes only allow the correct speed selections others allow finer variation. RPM mode should allow 100 rpm set points. GPS practice mode .1 mph etc.
devinewind
you can make small changes using the + or - button, you can change the default speed increments from 2 mph to 1 mph, you can adjust the baseline rpm's to get what ever speeds you want,
Baller_ DW Posted June 22, 2020 Baller_ Share Posted June 22, 2020 The PP website has several operators manuals and videos. Recommended reading.
Baller buechsr Posted June 22, 2020 Baller Share Posted June 22, 2020 spend $75 and get an upgrade stick (may have to upgrade your display too). It is so well worth it. So much simpler to use, even aside from its better pull.
Baller Windsurfnut Posted June 22, 2020 Baller Share Posted June 22, 2020 Need your version to help. If its original, likely v6.5 Manuals are on perfectpass website. If its been upgraded, still need software version as different versions have different functionality.
Baller HMan66 Posted June 22, 2020 Baller Share Posted June 22, 2020 What @buechsr said. I just upgraded to V9.2 in my 96 Prostar. Super easy and the boat is now dialed in :)
