Baller ejj Posted September 7, 2020 Baller Share Posted September 7, 2020 Cheers--my wife loves to ski with combos--and she weighs 110 pounds. She has been using a pair of HO 61" combos, but she hates the bindings--they rely on velcro across the top of the foot/ankle that tends to come undone when wet/under any pressure. She despises horse-shoe style bindings. What are my options these days? Is there such a thing as a decent pair of smaller combos with decent bindings? Outwardly, this seems like a silly search, but a happy/engaged wife and daughters means more time on/behind the boat for me. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I never used them but Connelly used to have some nice combo bindings. The only bindings I’ve seen were the toe-piece slides to adjust and heal is stationary. Yes! @BraceMaker funny enough I was just looking at those bindings--now I need to figure out how to mount them--I don't think her skis have inserts. Probably a call to Wiley's. Adjustable binders are way more fuss than they are worth, after the 3rd time replacing my moms bindings when a guest reefed on them too hard I just said screw it and got a few different sizes of skis and boots. The smalls are supposedly women’s 8-9.5 but I’ll say much smaller footed new skiers do fine in them and don’t feel loose in them. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

As I saw already mentions the HO Blast are very popular, but if she doesn't like those bindings I would recommend looking at the X-calibers as well.
