Baller Pretzel Posted November 1, 2020 Baller Share Posted November 1, 2020 Hi I'm adding heated seats to my 2018 Prostar and can NOT find the drivers seat cable connector under the dash. The heater elements are all installed in the seats. The observes seat was easy cable we right where I expected it. The dealer sold me the cable Part#242-03386-H its a three pin triangular connector on the heater element plug and a two pin rectulangar on the other end. I can not find the connector under the dash. It's like the dealer forget a Y-Cable or something. If anyone has a picture under showing the connection that would be great. Cable listed above has a Brown/Red stripe and a black. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Guys!
Baller Cnewbert Posted November 1, 2020 Baller Share Posted November 1, 2020 Aside from your missing cable, is it hard to retro-fit heated seats in a late model Prostar, and roughly how much do the parts cost?
Baller Pretzel Posted November 1, 2020 Author Baller Share Posted November 1, 2020 It's fairly time consuming but not crazy hard. I had $500 in parts from dealer. You do have remove staples on seats and install heaters and staple back. There is a good post on Mastercraft's web site doing a late model. Baller skimtb Posted November 1, 2020 Baller Share Posted November 1, 2020 Wait wait. After the lovely winterization post, I don’t think @Cnewbert gets any tips on seat heaters!

Baller oldjeep Posted November 2, 2020 Baller Share Posted November 2, 2020 Have you checked whereever the cable would come out next to the seat? Possible that the cable is already there and tucked up into the side panel?
Baller Pretzel Posted November 3, 2020 Author Baller Share Posted November 3, 2020 Found it! Mastercraft tucks it in the gunnel behind the throttle arm rest. Very hidden.
Baller Cnewbert Posted November 3, 2020 Baller Share Posted November 3, 2020 @Pretzel good for you! Please report how well they work. I have the heater in our Prostar. Even when on High only marginally warm air blows out. It’s far from hot.
Baller ProStah_Skiah Posted November 7, 2020 Baller Share Posted November 7, 2020 @Pretzel nice work! I’m planning to do the same thing. Would you mind sharing the parts list/prices for all the parts required?
