My Family vacations 3-4 times per year on Anna Maria island and we are looking for somewhere to ski and wakeboard while in the area. Obviously we won’t be hauling a boat or carrying our gear so need something “turn key”. Any ideas?

McCormick's up in Tampa, or Eden in Ft. Myers. Each place is about the same drive from Anna Maria (McCormicks might be a little closer). McCormick's is likely to have more gear on hand for you to use. Both sites are great.

We have a place on Anna Maria. Last year I saw a water ski course on Palma Sola bay where you first hit the water on the south side of Manatee Avenue. Don’t know any more about it but somebody is skiing there.
