Syndicate Omni vs carbon onmi

Hi, I’m looking at a new ski. I mainly free ski but am looking to try course. I currently ski on an older ho syndicate 67. Not exactly sure how old it is as I got it off a mate. Around 10 years I guess. I recently got to try a syndicate onmi 69 and really liked it. The question is, I can get a great deal on a carbon onmi but wonder if I would be disappointed in it after skiing the syndicate. Any thoughts would be really appreciated.

I think you would be fine on the carbon omni and probably not even notice the difference. It is the same shape as the syndicate with a different core and a different bottom skin. Just get the right size for your weight. I am 5.6 155lbs on a 65 syndicate omni. My ski bud is 5.11 180lbs on a 67 carbon omni and he loves it for skiing the course.

I don't think you would notice the difference either. They are out of the same mold. Everything is pretty much the same between the Syndicate and the Carbon Omni except for the core. The Syndicate has a PVC core where the Carbon has a regular core. They both have the same speedskin bottom.
