Baller cruznski Posted May 13, 2021 Baller Share Posted May 13, 2021 Hello! Well it is warming up nicely and skiing more days a week here in NorCal. I am about 1 yr in on my white cuff reflex and XL Intuition liner on front and am very pleased with it. Now I just used the Aqua liner out of the box and the set up is the best I have ever had. What I am experiencing is FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) has anyone run it as is then molded it and if so what was the degree of improvement experienced? I am pretty sure there's some wisdom out there on this.
Baller C5Quest Posted May 13, 2021 Baller Share Posted May 13, 2021 Will only get better when you mold it.
Baller BraceMaker Posted May 13, 2021 Baller Share Posted May 13, 2021 Depends a bit on your liner and foot but I've never had one feel worse after molding it.
Baller Lovell Posted May 14, 2021 Baller Share Posted May 14, 2021 I am using the reflex white cuff with the thin reflex liner— been happy with it. Which intuition are you using?

h2oskibadger
I just got an intuition liner, size L (10-11) for size 10 Reflex Supershell 6.0. My foot measures just over 11" so it's on the upper end of the size 10 shell. The liner seems like it has a lot of room, however. And when I put it on and in the shell, I can just barely get 1 notch on the lower 2 buckles because it seems like there's so much liner material around the foot. Does the liner shrink when heated up for molding or is it better to have a smaller size liner that you can stretch out when molding?
Baller BraceMaker Posted June 5, 2021 Baller Share Posted June 5, 2021 The liners will shrink when you heat them but stretch when hot. Basically if too loose if you warm it up it will shrink. But if you add a few spare socks into a hot liner it will mold looser.
Baller oldjeep Posted June 5, 2021 Baller Share Posted June 5, 2021 Intuition liners pack out when you mold them. I run them in my race boots and they always start out way too tight.
