misp
Looking for someone that might know someone or be able to pull a G3 and G4 girl for practice at Deep Creek Lake in MD or in the near vicinity during July 16-19? Any help with contacts would be appreciated.
Baller JackQ Posted June 29, 2021 Baller Share Posted June 29, 2021 Sam Ingram (Mens5) skies there regularly. I do not have his contact information, he typically skis early morning.
Baller ALPJr Posted June 29, 2021 Baller Share Posted June 29, 2021 I believe one of the Rouse family also runs a ski school on Deep Creek. We bought a 92 Pro Star promo from them some years ago.
Baller skierjp Posted June 29, 2021 Baller Share Posted June 29, 2021 Just up there for a wedding. The only skiing on that lake would be early morning and probably not weekends at alI. I know Sam he is a awesome guy but I don’t have his number. You might be able to pull his info from AWSA.

Baller Mtea Posted July 2, 2021 Baller Share Posted July 2, 2021 We find that if you go out early on Deep Creek Lake (7-8:00 AM) you can almost always find good water. We ski between the 219 bridge and the dam. Miles of shoreline and coves that run every direction so if it’s windy there is almost always a sheltered run. We normally go every day including weekends and only cancel for rain or really high winds. We are seeing bald eagles fairly often now and even skied past a swimming bear one morning (I was driving; my buddy was puckering).
Baller skierjp Posted July 2, 2021 Baller Share Posted July 2, 2021 I’m sure they need a slalom course.
