Baller ral Posted July 3, 2021 Baller Share Posted July 3, 2021 Just hit my elbow in a slide, nothing major nor painful, but now I have a golf sized lump in my elbow, and an elbow bursitis diagnosis. No pain, only some tension feeling when completely bending the elbow Any advice? How long to get back to normal? Would skiing make it worse? Baller thager Posted July 3, 2021 Baller Share Posted July 3, 2021 Either try it, or go immediately to your veteranarian!
Baller BS74 Posted July 3, 2021 Baller Share Posted July 3, 2021 Just had this. I bumped my elbow on the counter in the afternoon and by evening it swelled up the size of a tennis ball. Went to the doctor expecting him to drain it and he said "NO" because of risk of infection. He said it will go down by itself in 3 to 4 weeks and he was right, and said to go on skiing. I had thought about draining it myself and that would have been a huge mistake. Short answer, keep skiing and in a few weeks it will be gone@
Baller waterskicorey Posted July 3, 2021 Baller Share Posted July 3, 2021 I had the same results as BS74, it went away in a couple of weeks and I kept on skiing, no problems
Baller eyepeeler Posted July 3, 2021 Baller Share Posted July 3, 2021 Try doing the same slide with your good elbow and try to get a golf ball on that elbow...then noone will take notice of the deformity of the bad elbow. Chicks dig this kind of stuff.
