Baller dchristman Posted July 24, 2021 Baller Share Posted July 24, 2021 The poll about 'do you adjust' begs the question why do you adjust one way or the other. Two previous threads had seemingly contradictory advice. exhibit #1: https://www.ballofspray.com/forum#/discussion/23606/water-temp-fin-adjustments-psa exhibit #2: https://www.ballofspray.com/forum#/discussion/24819/mikro-just-rule-of-
Baller ScottScott Posted July 24, 2021 Baller Share Posted July 24, 2021 The ski rides deeper in the water when warmer, so maybe with boot forward you'll be a little more on the wider part.. ? But generally I hear about a little less fin depth or a little less wing. I took a little depth away and it seemed to regain the feel through the turn that I was used to with cooler water.... Baller Deanoski Posted July 25, 2021 Baller Share Posted July 25, 2021 I move fb 1-2 micro adjustment back for warm sticky water
Baller skialex Posted July 25, 2021 Baller Share Posted July 25, 2021 What @Deanoski does, but if I feel balanced on my ski and don’t want to change that, when I decrease wing or move 1-2 teeth on the MJ... I add some length. Couple of thousand add for 1/2 degree wing angle decrease or a tooth back and so on...
Baller ForrestGump Posted July 26, 2021 Baller Share Posted July 26, 2021 A little more length never hurt anyone. Wait, what are we talking about?
