Reflex sizing

My son is in need of a new reflex boot and liner but I just want to confirm I am buying the right shell. He wears a 9.5-10 US men's shoe and is using an Intuition medium (8/9) liner that his toes are touching the front of. I believe his Reflex shell is a size 8(?). Does it makes sense that an Intuition large liner would go in a reflex size 10 shell?

I use a Intuition L liner in a 10 shell for my trick ski.

It was due to availability. It works for me but the liner is maybe on the large side.

I even use an alpine ortho soule in the boot.

My shoe size is 11 men’s and I’m on a size 8 reflex shell with a 8-9 intuition liner. I tried the 10-11 liner but it was too big to fit in the shell.

I’m a 10 shoe and the 8 shell and 8/9 liner fits me perfectly.

Did you thermoform the liner?

 

You can use a sock and an additional cut sock tip to give more toe space.
