Baller S1Pitts Posted February 14, 2022 Baller Share Posted February 14, 2022 I bought my 97 bubble back in 2008 with 24 original hrs. Just clocked over 400 hrs end of 2021. These unicorns do exist.

Baller MDB1056 Posted February 14, 2022 Baller Share Posted February 14, 2022 @ReallyGottaSki - glad to hear the foam is gone. I removed all of mine when doing floor replacement earlier. Yea it’s a mess to do but so much better once done. Keep the pics coming
Baller swc5150 Posted February 15, 2022 Baller Share Posted February 15, 2022 I wonder if high used boat prices are here to stay? I'm not sure new boat prices will ever come down, as I've never seen it happen, and that's clearly driving used prices up. Ha, I remember when I first saw a ski boat hit $40k and thought, we've hit the ceiling in this market!
Baller PacMan Posted February 19, 2022 Author Baller Share Posted February 19, 2022 @ALPJr thanks for posting that link! I ended up settling on buying that just last Tuesday! I'm going to pick it up next Friday, I can't wait! This is my first boat and will be upgrading from skiing behind my dad's 1986 Mastercraft prostar! Sooo excited!!! Baller_ Wish Posted March 11, 2022 Baller_ Share Posted March 11, 2022 Every now and then comes a reasonable price on a boat comparatively. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/504432811246072/
Baller swc5150 Posted March 14, 2022 Baller Share Posted March 14, 2022 Just stumbled on this on our local c-list. Seems like a good deal, just remove the tower:) https://eauclaire.craigslist.org/boa/d/holcombe-1997-mastercraft-prostar-190/7451089263.html
Members PeterAK
We are headed south for spring break next week and I'm picking up this PS195 on the way home. I'll be listing my '92 PS190 for sale when it comes out of storage mid April and think I might try eBay. Forever ago I sold my first inboard on eBay (and came out ahead by a couple thousand after owning for two years) but that hasn't seemed like the best way to sell a boat for quite a while. I sold my last two on Craigslist. With people eager to find good boats and selling at the beginning of the season, I think it may work in my favor. Baller MDB1056 Posted March 15, 2022 Baller Share Posted March 15, 2022 I’d be keeping the 190 any day. If you do divest, at least consider putting it on SIA as well. No downside
Baller Hucklefin Posted March 15, 2022 Baller Share Posted March 15, 2022 @PeterAK Milwaukee and Waupaca... hmm I live right in the middle of there. Where do you ski? I agree with above by the way, that 190 is so sweet.
Members PeterAK
@Hucklefin we ski at Pine Lake west of Milwaukee when I'm home and have a cabin on Spencer Lake in Waupaca. Where are you? I'd love to keep both boats but I have a wife...
Baller tlarocque Posted March 15, 2022 Baller Share Posted March 15, 2022 Waupaca... that's awesome! I learned to ski on Rainbow where my mom's family (Stevens Point) had a cottage, my stepdad had a cottage on McCrossen for at least 60 years, and now my mom and him have a place on Round. LOVE going back there but, sadly, has been way too crowded for skiing in the past few years. Chain O' Lakes is a wonderful area though and I love my Spotted Cow. Baller 6balls Posted March 15, 2022 Baller Share Posted March 15, 2022 @PeterAK I got more interest from SIA than craigslist, but a lot from both. Yeah...keep the 190!
Baller morfoot Posted March 16, 2022 Baller Share Posted March 16, 2022 I'd love to keep both boats but I have a wife... Huh???? :p What kinda excuse is that? ;) I have several friends that are multi inboard owners myself included. I too thought the same thing but my ski buds were always telling me.... Dude...You gotta have a spare! I took their advice a little too far and I now have 3. :#
Baller_ DW Posted March 16, 2022 Baller_ Share Posted March 16, 2022 @PeterAK - my ski buddy's wife loves their 190, just sayin'. That is a very nice 190, you will have no trouble selling it. As others have noted, SIA and even a note here will offer a great ski boat to the most knowledgeable audience for that particular vessel.
Baller Hucklefin Posted March 16, 2022 Baller Share Posted March 16, 2022 @PeterAK Oshkosh primarily and also Stevens Point.
Baller FSSPCat Posted March 20, 2022 Baller Share Posted March 20, 2022 Depending on the interior condition, here is one that might actually be reasonable. Baller FSSPCat Posted March 21, 2022 Baller Share Posted March 21, 2022 @rockdog most people are listing their 2000 era boats at $35000 CDN up here. I’m not saying I’d every pay that, but given the market it not the most ridiculous one I’ve seen.
Baller rockdog Posted March 21, 2022 Baller Share Posted March 21, 2022 I actually meant the add itself. One photo only, with a lift cover on and 30m away. I guess this guy isn't all that interested in selling it.
Baller FSSPCat Posted March 21, 2022 Baller Share Posted March 21, 2022 @rockdog ha ha true but sometimes access to our boats in Alberta in the winter can be a challenge. I might give the guy the benefit of the doubt given the time of year. Would obviously need to see it in person.
