Baller Mastercrafter Posted May 20, 2022 Baller Share Posted May 20, 2022 I’d like to reduce the amount of resistance felt in the throttle on my 2015 Prostar. I know there’s an adjustment screw… does it require removing the side panel which holds the throttle/shift control? Anything else I need to know before diving into this? Baller wski1831 Posted May 20, 2022 Baller Share Posted May 20, 2022 I’m interested in this too. My 17 throttle was a bit stiff.
Baller dbutcher Posted May 20, 2022 Baller Share Posted May 20, 2022 Is there any way to lubricate it?
Baller Jmoski Posted May 20, 2022 Baller Share Posted May 20, 2022 My SN 200 uses a Livorsi throttle assembly, if you have the same component, the adjustment Allen screws are on the bottom of the unit in recessed holes. I can get at one of them without pulling the side panel. Not sure how accessible it is on the ProStar.
rack
I referenced this thread for my 2014 PS, procedure was the same: https://teamtalk.mastercraft.com/forum/maintenance-tips-how-tos-and-refurbishing-topics/general-other/68895-adjust-throttle-friction
