Skiing in/around Tampa area?

Hello! I have a club member who is looking to possibly relocate to the Tampa area for work. What are the potential club options in that area, if any?

The only place that I know of is what was McCormicks. They were sold and I have no idea what the new owners are doing. Ski paradise was sold as well. Same thing also. No idea what the new owner is going to do.

Looks like McCormick's Cable Park is reopening today as Raven's Cove. Not sure what the plans are on the water ski side.

I live in Tampa and there is nothing too close. Mccormicks as mentioned above is closed at at the moment however they are in the process of re-opening the water ski side too (not just the cable). I think they just got their ski boat.

 

Other that, Kyle Eade(Fluid) in Polk City is approx. ~45 minutes way or Ski Paradise in Mulberry (need your own boat)(also about 45 minutes)

I'm in Clearwater, just west of Tampa. It's painful here with no options since McCormicks closed. I'm eager to see what happens when it reopens. No clubs that I know of locally with a slalom course.

 

We travel out to Jodi Fisher for great instruction. My daughter has also been to Kyle (ski fluid) which is a bit closer.
