Baller ghutch Posted March 19, 2023 Baller Posted March 19, 2023 A buddy of mine has a young teenager on a used Goode with a carbon core and an insert has come out. Anyone have any suggestions for putting it back in? My concern is the carbon holding if its epoxied or going to another size insert. Thanks for the help
Baller gator867 Posted March 19, 2023 Baller Posted March 19, 2023 @ghutch I am on a Goode Revo CC and simply used the regular jb weld. When my insert came out the hole wasn’t stripped out so I just bought a new brass insert from Home Depot in the same size. I just put a bed of jb weld in the existing hole and on the sides and screwed the new insert into the hole and let it setup over night. 1
Baller RAWSki Posted March 19, 2023 Baller Posted March 19, 2023 If the top-sheet isn't in bad shape just some JBweld should be fine, I have also found slightly larger inserts at my local hardware store that take the same screws, these work great if the hole is 'wallowed' out. 1
