Baller Over55wannabee Posted June 29, 2023 Baller Share Posted June 29, 2023 Hmmm, looks like a Gekko to me. Mine was doing the same if not worse. Ended up turning mine a full 180 degrees as the bottom “set” screws were digging into the aluminum. I also had a helper “pull” as a skier would to make sure all the welds in the mounting bracket were not cracked. Checked all lag bolts to stringers and resealed. Can’t say it’s the best design by far, but to answer your question I say yes. After re-positioning and tightening I have about the same flex as the club nautique. That is not flex in the video, hate to say but something is moving. As @Hortonsays, I would halt using until fixed.
Baller BraceMaker Posted June 29, 2023 Baller Share Posted June 29, 2023 If there is a cup at the base loosen everything up, reset the pylon with Loctite 660 around it. Torque everything and let it cure. That stuff will hold a gear on a splined shaft on a motor it will hold your pylon.
