  1. My 2 channel ProSport charger has auto detection for battery type including a special mode for high performance AGM batteries. This is a charger/maintainer that is mounted in the boat. FWIW - I prefer a dual battery system with an A/B/Both switch rather than an ACR. This way when you decide to sit and float with the radio going you can switch it to a single battery and still have one to get you home if needed.

Never used an Optima in a boat, but always ran Yellow starting technology batteries in the Jeeps. Never had a bad one, they put up with the heavy drain of an 8274 winch even with the engine off.581ji8u9q1mq.jpg

  2. Have a picture of the dash? If it has the upgraded dash, make sure to check that lower right touch screen for delamination around the edges. They are quite expensive to replace, I'm looking at likely having to buy one this season. Only other comment is that the 2012 steering wheel really sucks due to the single spoke at the bottom, luckily it is an easy problem to solve with a couple hundred bucks for a steering wheel from the newer boats.

  3. I've got a 2017 vapor graphite and a 2012 Senate. Both of them ride around in my tower ski rack in the sun and I haven't had any issues with them. The one in your picture looks a little crudely finished and the back of the ski looks like it has been banged around a bunch.
  4. As an aside, my middle child - an electrical engineering student at the time and maybe a little Sheldonish asked me in his sophomore or junior year. Why so so many college kids say they are democrats and there are not as many college educated adults that are? I told him that anyone in their right mind looks out for their own self interest.

This isn't meant to be political, more a (conservative) parent of 3 graduated and gainfully employed college students point of view on worrying about the political climate of a college. Kids will either learn or not learn what you taught them, evaluate how they feel about it and then hopefully go on to be better people than their parents.

  5. Couple things

    1) are you saying that you can power the wedge all the way up and it is dropping over time? Or that it never goes up high enough?

    2) After the actuators were replaced did you calibrate the wedge to set the upper and lower position? These are some older directions, but in a TXI may be the controls you have. If not the process is pretty much the same but using the touch screen in the diagnostics section

I see you already posted on TheMalibuCrew - so that might get you some more answers
